1. MAEL MÓRDHA 'All Eire Will Quake' - taken from the Candlelight album 'Damned When Dead'
The Gaelic doom warriors of the Emerald Isle are back with a decidedly epic-sounding new track,
with vocals and lyrics made powerful by the weidght of history and legend at their heart.

2. TURISAS 'Ten More Miles' - taken from the Century Media album 'Turisas2013'
Stomping, inspirational folksy metal from everybody's favourite fur-clad, warpainted Finnish sword-wielders,
with just as much pomp and grandeur as we have all come to expect from Warlord and co.
This is a battle hymn, a lusty call-to-arms the Turisas way.

3. DEVILDRIVER 'Ruthless' - taken from the Napalm album 'Winter Kills'
Never ones to disappoint, DevilDriver are back to bring the viciously heavy groove with this pounding new song.
It's as full of aggression as ever, and slams home with unstoppable strength. This certainly is as ruthless as its name implies.

4. REVAMP ''The Anatomy Of A Nervous Breakdown': On The Sideline' - taken from the Nuclear Blast album 'Wild Cart'
Floor Jansen takes a break from Nightwish to return with a cut from her own band's new album.
Expect proggy, jazzily rhythmed metal riffs, lush keyboard textures and amazing, acrobatic and richly toned singing aplenty.

5. CHIMAIRA 'Crown Of Phantoms' - taken from the Long Branch album 'Crown Of Phantoms'
Mark Hunter's stalwart shredders Chimaira return, bringing the pain with this relentlessly heavy new song.
Their fans the world over will relish the chance to throw down that this hefty slab offers.

6. DIAMOND PLATE 'Walking Backwards' - taken from the Earache album 'Pulse'
Straight-up thrash metal is the name of the game here from these boys from the States.
If you're into Testament or Metallica's early stuff, then look no further than this.

7. AVULSED 'Dead Flesh Awakened' - taken from the Xtreem Music/Sevared album 'Ritual Zombi'
These vile so-and-sos from Spain definitely know how to produce a revolting piece of metal.
Tremble in fear as you bathe in the gore of this brutal hunk of death.

8. SCARRED 'Cinder' - taken from the Klonosphere/Season Of Mist album 'Gaia-Medea'
Luxembourg is probably not the first country you'd think of when asked about metal in the footsteps of Gojira,
yet here is a smashing piece of heavy stuff from prog-mongers Scarred.

9. WHEN REASONS COLLAPSE 'Made Of Stone' - taken from the self-released EP 'Full Of Lies'
Some weighty goodness from French deathsters When Reasons Collapse,
featuring throat-ripping vocals and more brutal beatdowns than you can shake an ear-stretcher at. Get ready to snap your neck.

10. METALHEAD COMEDIAN 'Satan's Babysitter' - taken from the self-released EP 'Drowning In Nutrients'
No words can really describe this song… it's like Flight Of The Conchords on PCP, and includes a lullaby to Satan himself,
albeit one rather radically different to what Watain would write. Answers on a postcard.
