Fantastically crafted, in-your-face Wagnerian black metal perfect for obliterating the eardrums of your neighbours.
A touch of the Dimmu Borgir about this lot, in the best possible way.

3. VESTERIAN 'Unknown Spells…' - taken from the Glorious North album 'Anthems For The Coming War Age'
This old fashioned black metal facemelter hits harder than a body dislocating car crash.
The musical vision of Mayhem circa 1993 is very much alive and well in 2013. Thank Satan.

4. BEYOND 'Fatal Power Of Death' - taken from the Iron Bonehead Prod/Necroshrine Rec album of the same name
Sounding like it was shat straight out of a fetid pit in hell, this black metal horror makes for an invigorating noise-polluter.
Throw in some good old-fashioned solos, and you're ready to scare.

5. NORSE 'Plaguewhore' - taken from the self-released album 'All Is Mist And Fog'
The proggy guitar textures combined with the furious drum patterns (not to mention a ferocious vocal overlay)
cement Norse as an interesting black/death prospect from Down Under.

6. THROW THE GOAT 'Southeast Bound' - taken from the Regurgitation album 'Black Mountain'
Riffs with more beef than a countryside farm, an equally heavy bass groove and catchy vocals
leave no reason why anybody should not throw the fuck down to this.

7. CONDITION CRITICAL 'Random Acts Of Killing' - taken from the Burned By God album 'Operational Hazard'
Thrash made for anybody who loves to purely smash the shit out of anything around them, as the song suggests.
CC's pure old school approach to thrashing like a maniac is pure class.

8. TODAY THE SUN DIES 'Torment Of The Flesh' - taken from the self-released EP 'Torment'
This Newcastle-bred technical death metal makes for the kind of ungodly racket that threatens the structural integrity of your house.
Brutally splendid, wot?

Groovy sludgey technical evil that makes for an intense headbanger.
Neurosis meet Gojira in a spine-jangling experience designed to reduce your height by three clear inches.

10. ANTI-CLONE '1984' - taken from the self-released single '1984'
Industrial groove with catchy cleans and a captivating harmonious yet pounding rhythm to go alongside it.
The ensuing alternative madness is made to rock you back on your heels.

11. OPTHALIDON 'Red Room' - taken from the self-released album 'Zero'
If you like thunderous intimidating death growls with a futuristic industrial vibe then check this out.

Shropshire's Arceye mix slightly technical thrash with just a hint of death metal brutality to add spice to the recipe.
