1. CHILDREN OF BODOM 'Transference' - Taken from the Nuclear Blast album 'Halo Of Blood'
This slice of brutality exudes the same evilness depicted on the grim album cover, four minutes of heavy guitar wanking and Alexi Laiho's signature growls.

2. EVILE 'Head Of The Demon' - Taken from the Earache album 'Skull'
The future of thrash offer this infectious, stomping anthem from their forthcoming 'Skull' album… step aside Metallica.

3. DARK TRANQUILLITY 'Uniformity' - Taken from the Century Media album 'Construct'
Melodic death metal wouldn't be the same without this five-piece from Gothenburg. A slow start doesn't quite prepare you for the crushing heaviness that follows.

4. CHURCH OF MISERY 'Brother Bishop' - Taken from the Rise Above album 'Thy Kingdom Scum'
Japanese Black Sabbath worshippers Church Of Misery excite us with their blend of doomy, psychedelic stoner metal.

5. AGE OF TAURUS 'Embrace The Stone' - Taken from the Rise Above album 'Desperate Souls of Tortured Times'
These road-hardened doomsters want to guide us all through a world which is inhabited with, as the album denotes, 'desperate souls of tortured times'. Yes, please!

6. BLOOD CEREMONY 'Drawing Down The Moon' - Taken from the Rise Above album 'The Eldritch Dark'
Refreshingly retro '70s infused rock from Canadian quartet Blood Ceremony. There is just not enough organ playing in heavy metal these days, is there?

7. BATTLE BEAST 'Into The Heart Of Danger' - Taken from the Nuclear Blast album 'Battle Beast'
Finland's finest return with this power battle hymn, which perfectly executes Noora Louhimo's commanding voice and features plenty of huge guitar riffs. Play this album loud.

8. FORLORN PATH 'Ghosts' - Taken from the self-released album 'Man's Last Portrait'
Brutal yet melodic, Forlorn Path spoil us with this melancholic growly black metal treat from their debut album.

9. MYRIDIAN 'No Dawn' - Taken from the self-released album 'Under The Fading Light'
Hailing from Down Under, these Melbourne doomsters treat us to over seven minutes of dark, powerful and melancholic metal.

10. PANTHEON 'Voice Of Hate' - Taken from the self-released EP 'Intervention'
Acknowledging the roots of classic heavy metal, yet still remaining current, this York four-piece fly the flag for heavy metal with aplomb.

11. LILIN 'Christ Grinder' - Taken from the self-released album 'Aeon Of Scorn'
In Mesopotamian demonology, Lilin were night spirits that attacked men. With such a kick-ass name, don't expect anything less from their music: this song is a delightfully chaotic slab of death metal.

12. BLACKWATER 'Painted Butterfly' - Taken from the self-released EP 'Painted Butterfly'
Melodic black metal tinged with progressive elements makes for an exhilarating listen from this Aussie ensemble, demonstrating once again how romance and brutality go hand in hand, how sweet!

13. GUKURAHUNDI 'Dethroned' - Taken from the Manicidic EP 'An Apparition In Nocturnal Splendor'
This Californian duo scream, roar and whisper their way through the tortured lyrics of 'Dethroned'. If you're hungry for a new band to satisfy your black death metal cravings then look no further.

14. GENERATION GRAVEYARD 'Abominate Desolate' - Taken from the self-released EP 'Lonewolves'
Making sure to avoid sub-genre pigeonholing, Generation Graveyard blend a hybrid of metal stylings to create one badass track.

15. CHRONICLES OF SUBMISSION 'Indoctrinate' - Taken from the Mincemeat EP 'The Stringless Puppet'
Prog heavy metal from Tennessee. The four-piece have ignored Nashville's passion for the steel guitar to bring us an EP full of aggressive noise to assault your eardrums.

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
