2.: AMG 'Recorded shortly before his death in September 1970, "Lover Man" was a string contender for Jimi Hendrix's fourth, unfinished album. A straight-ahead rocker with hard R&B edges, this song has, like many of Hendrix's tracks of the period, an easily identifiable energy. 15.: Vocalist Triona Ni Dhomhnaill of the Bothy Band formed the Touchstone in the early 1980s after immigrating to North Carolina. Made up of North American musicians Claudine Langille, Zan McLeod, and Mark Roberts, Touchstone wove threads of American bluegrass and old-time music Irish traditional music. The quartet recorded two albums, The New Land (Green Linnet, 1993) and Jealousy (Green Linnet, 1993).

AMG ~ When Frank Zappa remixed the Uncle Meat tapes for the CD reissue of the 1969 LP, back in the mid-'80s, he added three new tracks: two of them were dialogue excerpts from the then-unfinished and unreleased movie by the same name, the other was the song "Tengo Na Minchia Tanta." It was recorded in 1982 and features Zappa's "sound" of the time: a driving rock song with a crunchy electric guitar riff. Lyrics are sung and seem to have been improvised on the spot by Massimo Bassoli, an Italian rock music writer who published a book on Zappa entitled Zappa: E Piu' Duro di Tuo Marito (Zappa: Harder Than Your Husband) in 1982. The title of the song roughly translates to "I've Got a Big Bunch of Dick." On the CD reissue, it is squeezed between the two movie excerpts, entering after the phrase can be heard in English, spoken by one of the actors. Following the song is an Italian lesson. "Tengo Na Minchia Tanta" was never performed live, nor was it covered by another artist. The title was used for one of the bootlegs Zappa included in the Beat the Boots box sets.
