Over an hour of the hottest prog sounds around today, hand-picked for you with Prog's warmest compliments. Enjoy ...

01 LEE ABRAHAM - Closing The Door
With musical collaborations from Dec Burke, Karl Groom and John Young (to name but a few), the new release from ex-Galahad bassist Lee Abraham was always going to be a corker. The result is an intellectual feast for the ears.
Taken from: Distant Days on Edge Of Life

02 JOHN WESLEY - Disconnect
Porcupine Tree guitarist John Wesley has an impressive CV under his belt, lending his intricate playing to Sound Of Contact and Fish, among others. Disconnect is the sort of melodic marvel that you would expect from a man who shares the stage with Mr Wilson.
Taken from: Disconnect on InsideOut

03 CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX - Northern Comfort
Members may come and go, but the quality of Crippled Black Phoenix's output has grown since their 2004 inception. This picks up from where the Prog-approved (Mankind) The Crafty Ape left off, proving that CBP are at the top of their game.
Taken from: White Light Generator on Mascot/Cool Green

04 PANIC ROOM - Incarnate
Here's a band who really deserve all the praise and plaudits heaped upon them. Panic Room's progressive fusion of rock and pop has won them fans inside and outside the prog circle. As the title track proves, Incarnate is an addictive album that will have you hooked.
Taken from: Incarnate on Firefly

05 TUOMAS HOLOPAINEN - A Lifetime Of Adventure
Fifteen years of love and personal input have culminated in a Disney-inspired release from Nightwish maestro Tuomas Holopainen. A Lifetime is taken from an LP that's a blast of good old-fashioned storytelling.
Taken from: Music Inspired By The Life And Times Of Scrooge on Nuclear Blast

06 LOREENA MCKENNITT - The Old Ways
This Canadian's artist's career spans almost three decades, with fans across the globe taking her eclectic Celtic sound to their hearts. To celebrate 30 years in the business, McKennitt has released a fabulous 'best of' that shows just why she's so well loved.
Taken from: The Journey So Far - The Best Of on Quinlan Road

07 GAZPACHO - The Wizard Of Altai Mountain (Edit)
They describe themselves simply as a 'rock band from Norway', but the Gazpacho lads are so much more. Following on from their career-defining 2012 release March Of Ghosts, their new work Demon propels them to fiendish new heights.
Taken from: Demon on Kscope

08 GALAHAD - 21st Century Painted Lady
This is a reworking of Painted Lady, which this enduring UK prog rock institution first recorded in the mid-80s. With an extra verse and a new polished sound indicative of their new EP, this is vintage Galahad, retooled and rebooted for the 21st century.
Taken from: Seize The Day on Avalon

09 MOTORPSYCHO - Cloudwalker (A Darker Blue)
Their mix of psychedelia, rock, prog and jazz makes Motorpsycho an eclectic bunch indeed. It's fair to say there's no-one out there quite like them, and Behind The Sun takes these Norwegian rockers to a new plateau of individuality.
Taken from: Behind The Sun on Rune Grammofon

10 EDISON'S CHILDREN - The Seventh Sign (Single Edit)
Boasting the talents of Pete Trewavas and Eric Blackwood, along with Touchstone sticksman Henry Rogers, this collaboration could only result in psychedelic-tinged progressive rock of the highest quality. Let's hope for some live dates in the near future.
Taken from: The Final Breath Before November on Random Disturbance

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
