Over an hour of the hottest prog sounds around today, hand-picked for you with Prog's warmest compliments. Enjoy!

01 THE SEVENTH BEYOND - Crab Nebula A shining example of the ‘less is more’ approach, this studio project layers ambient keys to incite the feeling of floating through space in slow motion. Measured and minimalist, it gives listeners the chance to appreciate the artistic quality of every crafted note.
Taken from Sonic Universe

02 PANOPLY - Riding The Wave Another resplendent instrumental from a band that makes uniting complex arrangements feel effortless. Their music sparkles as hooks and motifs interweave with one another, reaching out into accessible and audacious atmospheres alike.
Taken from First Inversion

03 CONNECTION THEORY - Drumlins And Dropstones Meet the Wirral’s new collaborative couple. Multiinstrumentalist Duncan Cooper and his wife, vocalist Laura, colourise the world around their catchy, repetitive melodies with subtle details and textures that add so much beauty to their music. It’s modern and magnificent.
Taken from Connection Theory

04 TOUCH - Swan Song The first band to play at the inaugural Monsters Of Rock, New York’s Touch have reunited and return with this bombastic earworm. Stacked vocal harmonies and galaxy spanning synths take the foray on a track that sounds fresh yet has its heart in the 80s.
Taken from: Tomorrow Never Comes

05 TUSMØRKE - Ride The Whimbrel Bouncy Norwegian folk-prog from an album that explores bog bodies; mortality and mystery are also instilled within this haunted composition. From spiritual, throbbing drums to chanting vocal melodies and an overarching mysticism, Tusmørke have outdone themselves here.
Taken from Nordisk Krim

06 WARD XVI - Burn The Witch Veering away from their usual horror metal tropes in favour of string lavished textures and some luscious, Hackett-esque guitar playing, Ward XVI are determined to defy expectation with Burn The Witch. This song will invite a whole new audience into their world.
Taken from Metamorphosis

07 CHAOMETRY - The Strength The Chicago based band talk about writing prog on the extreme end. Yet, for all their off-kilter riffs and penchant for heavy technical moments, that talk shies away from the fact they have a stunning softer side too. Here, those Jekyll and Hyde elements join forces with terrific results.
Taken from Skeletal Wish

08 FRAGYLE - Kitchen Disaster Germany’s pop-leaning proggers put melody at the core of their music. From Eagles-meets-Deep Purple verses, Rainbow-worshipping motifs and ambitious instrumental breaks, they expertly dress their influences in their own wild fashion.
Taken from Grandma’s Hotel

09 EXIT 13 - The Gangs Of Norway
Self-described as psychedelic pop with hints of folk, The Gangs Of Norway, with its almost spoken word storytelling vocals and overcast 90s rock aesthetic, brings to mind John Cooper Clarke and REM. Its melancholic melodies meander through acoustic and purring electric guitars.
Taken from The Lunar Society

10 J CRIST - Don’t Talk To Me
Eerily built upon a hanging sense of dread and coloured by swathing guitars, prickling keyboard layers and an impassioned yet wounded vocal performance, this track feels and sounds like catharsis for Giuseppe Cristiano. The Italian-born multi-instrumentalist has turned his uneasy emotions into art.
Taken from Scratch That

11 FRANKY VALENTYN PROJECT - Psychobabble
If Ministry Of Sound ever released a progressive trance album inspired by Bowie's 80s period, this would on it. Irresistible grooves, jazz piano, clubland synths and tongue-in-cheek vocals all add personality to this collage of light-hearted brilliance.
Taken from The Never Ending Battle Between Life & Death

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
