Over an hour of the hottest prog sounds around today, hand-picked for you with Prog's warmest compliments. Enjoy!

01 THREE COLOURS DARK - Wonderland (How Can This Be Love?) Rachel Cohen’s pristine and pensive vocals are flanked by Jonathan Edwards’ interweaving musicality on this exciting new project. The darkness of its underpinning basslines are complemented by rising keyboards.
Taken from: The Science Of Goodbye
02 MAGENTA - A Gift From God From an album that’s inspired by six silver screen horror movie stars, the Welsh act unfurl a track rich in its own cinematic storytelling. Hushed and contemplative, A Gift From God finds its footing in minimalistic yet picturesque songwriting.
Taken from: Masters Of Illusion
03 THE OPIUM CARTEL - A Maelstrom Of Stars Thoughtful, expressive art rock with versatile lead guitar and a throbbing undercurrent of keyboards that catches the Norwegian act in their stride. They express so much with an understand approach that gifts them their magic.
Taken from: A Maelstrom Of Stars
04 DREAMING DAVID K AND ORGANIC - Lost In Space Chattering keys, guitar harmonies and passionate vocals help to colourise this astral affair. With hints of ELO and Jeff Wayne’s War Of The Worlds spurring it on, Lost In Space is a prog rock cut from the final frontier.
Taken from: Mr Passive Progressive
05 FATAL FUSION - Quo Vadimus Frenetic King Crimson-inspired scale runs, which dip and dive like birds hunting over the ocean, und ruminative moments of quiet signify the two halves of this track’s personality. Spasmodic and beguiling, Quo Vadimus is always entertaining.
Taken from: Dissonant Minds
06 SUIT OF LIGHTS – I Spy Keyboard and vocalist Joe Darone, the musician behind Suit Of Lights, knits together rock, baroque, pop and electronic rock on this infectious arrangement. It’s a bouncy, genre-hopping piece skillfully crafted with catchy melodies at its core.
Taken from: Hide And Seek
07 PROFESSOR TIP TOP - Beneath The Silence This sparse composition from the Norwegian space rockers may be a slow-burner, but it’s one that rewards patience. Its delicate motifs and heavy emotions give way to a serene yet grandiose conclusion that blows the dark clouds away.
Taken from: Tomorrow Is Delayed
08 LAUGHING STOCK – Canyon Crawlers Defined by smoky acoustic guitars that crawl across expansive desert plains, Norway’s Laughing Stock take in Pink Floyd and The Eagles and add layers of Southern rock in tasteful abundance. Together, these ingredients make Canyon Crawlers uniquely alluring.
Taken from: The Island
09 APOSTLE – Pale Blue Dot From these seasoned Yorkshire musicians comes a song that imbues some of the band’s biggest musical loves – Marillion and Led Zeppelin are the most telling. On the captivating Pale Blue Dot, Apostle purr with a striking reflection, both musically and lyrically.
Taken from: Sky Above Me
10 THE MIGHTY HANDFUL – I Knew Your Game There is a strutting gravity to the way that The Mighty Handful carry their music. On the eagerly awaited follow-up to Still Sitting In Danny’s Car, a bold piano, aided by textural synths and whirring guitars, brings the heartfelt I Knew Your Game to life with zest and zip.
Taken from: Touchy Subjects
11 PIXIE NINJA – Leng Plateau A crazy collision of electro-jazz, pinballing time signatures, haunted refrains and frantic drumming means that these Norwegian instrumentalists pack plenty into their colossal sound. This lead track from their debut album is both furious and riveting.
Taken from: Colours Out Of Space
12 FOUR TRIPS AHEAD – Bring Me Down With their distorted, abrasive guitars and their guttural, David Draiman-esque vocals, the New York troupe take a fiery alt-metal number and turn it into an anthem with Bring Me Down. It’s driven by fury and iced with a subtly progressive ambition.
Taken from: ...And The Fire Within

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
