THE HAARP MACHINE
PLEIADIAN KEYS
This hugely exciting British band are one of a kind, injecting Eastern melodies and instruments into ferocious fretwork. An genuinely original voice that stands out in any crowd. Taken from the album Disclosure, out now via Sumerian.

CIRCLES
THE DESIGN
Catchy as hell Australian technicality that focuses on groove and bouncing rhythms. If you like your Meshuggah worship accessible and hook-laden, check this out immediately. Taken from the The Compass EP, out now via Basick.

HACKTIVIST
HACKTIVIST
Shaking the tech metal formula on its head, this new British outfit use grime vocals to make their attack more confrontational. Djent-hop is born, and it rules. Taken from the Hacktivist EP, out November 12 via self-release.

CHIMP SPANNER
DARK AGE OF TECHNOLOGY
The master of instrumental tech wizardry, Paul Antonio Ortiz’s one-man band makes music of baffling intricacy that’s cheerfully bonkers as well as clever. Taken from the All Roads Lead Here EP, out now via Basick.

THE FACELESS
THE EIDOLON REALITY
Do you like death metal? Are you worried that too much of it is too simplistic and possibly sane? Then The Faceless are needed by you. Lunatic, fantastic, and brutal. Taken from the album Autotheism, out now via Sumerian.

THE CONTORTIONIST
CAUSALITY
Flicking between progressive complexity, polyrythms, electronic ambience and death metal destruction, The Contortionist will both break you and sooth you. You’ll enjoy both. Taken from the album Intrinsic, out now via Season Of Mist.

DISSIPATE
MOTION
These furious, experimental Californians are heavy enough to make most metal bands feel weak, feeble and soft. Mind-fucking musical violence of manic intricacy. Marvellous! Taken from the Tectonics EP, out November 19 via Basick.

BORN OF OSIRIS
TWO WORLDS OF DESIGN
The crushing, swirling, space-age assault of Born Of Osiris is music of real atmosphere, and comes with one of the most distinctive, original melodic senses in metal today. Taken from the album The Discovery, out now via Sumerian.

THE ALGORITHM
TROJANS
Fusing metal, utterly barking mad electronica and a warp in the space time continuum, Gallic wizard The Algorithm sounds like nothing else. No one else is crazy enough to try this! Taken from the album Polymorphic Code, out November 19 via Basick.

DAMN SPRING FRAGRANTIA
DMZ
Blasting intricacy from Italy with huge grooves, DSF are a dissonant, angular proposition that’s downright disturbing. It’s probably not wise to listen to this while alone at night. Taken from their upcoming release in 2013.

THE AFTERIMAGE
THE VOID
These Canadians base their sound around jazzy grooves, augment it with dizzying technical leads, beef it all up with fearsome roars and then fuck with your head with unpredictable songs. Taken from the Formless EP, out now via Famined.

NO CONSEQUENCE
SO CLOSE TO NOWHERE
One of Britain’s first post-SikTh tech metal bands, No Consequence have gone a little under the radar outside the scene. Which is daft, as they’re ace Taken from their forthcoming second album, coming soon [via Basick Records].

MURDOCK
ERK
Making an absolutely thunderous great racket, this destructive Irish three-piece are part technical riffing, part hardcore fury and part wanton shocking violence meted out arbitrarily. Ace. [Taken from their forthcoming third album, out in 2013.]

A DARK ORBIT
CAST-IRON JAWBONE
The St. Louis, Missouri outfit A Dark Orbit play atmospheric, lurching aggression that is designed to make you move in seven directions at once, and nails it. [Taken from their forthcoming album Parhelion, out in 2013 via Basick].

THE COLOUR LINE
THRASH BANDICOOT
The Colour Line’s fevered, tangential hardcore, laden with roiling guitar work, made many friends at UK Tech Fest earlier this year. Check this out to see why. Taken from their [self-titled EP, out now via self-release].

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
