Slamm (Australia):
"In the early to mid-nineties DJ and Promoter Chris Kross founded “Slamm Records”, a store which was based in Sydney and only specialised in imported records.

After a few short years Slamm closed its doors as a shop-front and evolved into a record label and distributor. Under the banner of “Slamm (Australia)”, Chris created the label “Tower Records” and the brand "Downunderground" was born, successfully signing up a host of Australia's top DJ's to record exclusive mixed CD's. This labels repertoire has included not only local, but also international artists that were touring throughout Australia at the time.

Sadly, it all came to a close in the early to mid-naughties due to a major licensing issue. In fact, as per a court order, all remaining unsold copies released under these logos were consequently destroyed."
