Special Edition: This is a Two side Disc including DVD-Video & DVD-Audio
This DVD is the product of love, luck and MacGyver like innovation. We never knew that the footage we shot in the Studio would come this far. It's a little daunting how REAL some of it is. Marcus Miller playing "Room in My Heart" - that's the take that's on the record. Dennis White playing telly on "Out of your Mind" -- what you see is what you hear. The shots from the control room of Michael Franti, that's how it went down. So I hope you appreciate our unretouched candor, our bed head, our sometimes shaky camera work, but also the passion that went into "Steady Pull." We never knew we could shoot Performance footage for seven songs in one day and come up with such cool, funky pieces, {and great pants). So I have to thank my amazing band for their enthusiasm and stamina. To Mark Rains, who pulled the crew together, finessed all the technical ins and outs, and worked so cheerfully to help at every step. The crew, for working so tirelessly on a long ambitious day. Thanks to Berko and Chunger for all the endless nights editing until we got it right. To Bob Clearmountain who made the album possible in the first lace.
Unfathomable thanks for your generosity and spirit in our "Making of" section. Bob Ludwig, Brian Lee and everyone at Gateway for muscling through all the technical impasses.
