Limited 1000 Copies.
This album collects all the IMPALER demos from 1983 to 1992, along with most of the covers they have performed in the early years of their existence. There are also 2 full live sets and some unreleased songs that have never ended up in their studio albums. Finally, on DISC Three you'll find the FEAR NO EVIL demo, the band that originated IMPALER, with the original version of "Vicious Dream". We apologize if some songs haven't a good sound quality, but all of these recordings come from 25 years old tapes. We have done little restoration work in order to preserve the original tape sound feeling. While waiting for their new album, we hope you could enjoy these tunes from the true and only SHOCK ROCK band !!!
DISC ONE:
Tracks 09 and 10 were recorded -but not published- for the "Rise Of The Mutants" Ep, 1984. Tracks 11 to 16 are an unreleased demo. Three of these songs were re-recorded in 1992 for the "Daddy Raw" demo. Track 15 is a David Bowie cover. Tracks 20 to 23 are the original versions performed live. Some of these songs were recorded a few years later in studio. Track 21 has been only performed live but never recorded in studio. Tracks 24 to 26 are non- studio songs performed only at live gigs. Track 24 is an AC/DC cover.
DISC TWO:
Tracks 01 to 04 are only live version never recorded in studio. Track 05 is originally by Judas Priest. Track 06 is originally by Riot. Tracks 07, 10, 13 and 19 are Motorhead covers. Track 08 is a Plasmatics/Wendy O. Williams cover. Track 09 is an Impaler song never recorded in studio. Track 15 is an Iron Maiden cover. Track 17 is an Anti-Nowhere League cover and Track 21 is originally by Rolling Stones. The live Tracks 11 to 23 are from the second Impaler's live show.
DISC THREE:
Tracks 01 to 09 are the "Wake Up Screaming" Lp, recorded in 1988 but published only in 1990. Track 09 is a MC5 cover. Track 10 was recorded during the Lp session but never published. Tracks 21 to 23 are from FEAR NO EVIL demo recorded on December 26th, 1982. FNO was the first incarnation of Impaler. Track 22 is originally by Rainbow (when they were still good...) and 23 by Kiss (that have always been good...)
