Bloq, aka Jim Dodd, was raised in the UK, relocated to Sydney, Australia, and became hooked with music as a teenager. Becoming absorbed in the emotional and expressive potential of sound, a history of experimentation that began with post-rock band collaborations, was furthered individually through the available mediums of four track tape loops, detuned guitars, drum machines, casio keyboards and toy department oddities. This expression reached maturity with the exposure to the sequencer, sampler and synthesizer with which he shapes his current works


Robokoneko is Melinda Taylor, a Sydney based electronic musician who has been making music since 1996. Traditionally trained on the clarinet and saxophone she released her debut album Anembo on the Australian label Couchblip! in October 2003. Prior to that her music appeared on various compilations and she has offered up remixes for a selection of Australian and International artists. She invests her skills in compositional invention rather than on emerging technologies and her music is full of sensitive atmospherics. Decidedly retro and fundamentally melancholic - what you hear is what you get with Robokoneko, there are rarely any tricks except maybe the subtle pulling of a few heart strings.


Disjunction Reunion: Luke Killen, lives in and plays around Sydney. Drawing influence from hip hop, contemporary electronics, bass music and jazz. Releases to date include two CD albums for Couchblip! records. His music appears on numerous compilations. Live sets have been featured on Alchemy and 2ser radio and he has supported international acts such as Prefuse 73 and Dorian Concept. His second full length release Modernism for Newborns was released on Couchblip! in 2004 and he is currently working on the very serious business of writing limpet for life
