Dive into the oceanic depths of the coolest prog sounds of the moment and enjoy the ride with Progs’s best wishes …

01 MARILLION – Gaza Seventeen albums in, still delighting critics and fans with their astute sounds, Marillion prove there's life in the old dog yet. No concept, just eight solid songs, their lastest album has been compared by the band to 1995s Afraid Of Sunlight.
Taken from: Sounds That Can’t Be Made on Ear Music

02 THE REASONING - Hyperdrive There's a reason why The Reasoning were included in this year's first Progressive Music Awards. Because they rock. It's been a testing last few years. But a dazzling future awaits.
Taken from: Adventures in Neverland on Esoteric

03 THRESHOLD - Ashes Threshold are metallic purveyors of prog and, not forgetting that singer Damien Wilson once took the role of Jean Valjean in Les Mis, they've hooked us with a caliber of prog metal rarely surpassed. Lads, it's good to have you back.
Taken from: March Of Progress on Nuclear Blast

04 DISTRICT 97 - Read Your Mind American Idol and prog rock; it's an unlikely pairing, but it works for District 97, who asked finalist of the TV show Leslie Hunt to try out for their band. Throw in a classical cellist and an active jazz background for fine results.
Taken from: Trouble with Machines on The Laser's Edge

05 BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME - Telos This troop from North Carolina tread where other bands fear to go and are darn talented to boot. If you like your prog with heavy riffs and a dose of snarl, check them out. This is their proggiest stuff to date.
Taken from: Parallax II: Future on Metal Blade

06 JADIS - Try My Behaviour Proof that British prog music is alive and well, Jadis fly the flag with their melodic brand of neo prog. Undeterred by the departure of Martin Orford and John Jowitt, they have replaced the ex-IQ men with some fresh talent.
Taken from: See Right Through You self-released

07 NEAL MORSE – Weathering Sky Living in Nashville thankfully hasn't distracted Morse from his loyalty to prog. This album reunites him with his longtime musical partner, Mike Portnoy. Oh, and there's a cameo from Paul Gilbert on the album too.
Taken from: Momentum on Century Media

08 PLASTIC OVERLORDS - You Crumble To Bits There's a touch of Hawkwind here. With a song titled Star Avenger Vs. The Winged Hippopotamus featured on their newest long-player, don't expect the masters of polymer to pen songs about what they had for breakfast.
Taken from: Sonic Astronomy, on Fool's Errand

09 GRICE – Highly Strung Singer-songwriter, musician, performer and producer, (try saying that in one breath!) Grice knows a thing or two about the entire creative process of making music. Expect electro-acoustic glitch, art rock and avant-pop synthesis.
Taken from: Propeller, on Hunger Sleep

10 RHYS MARSH AND THE AUTUMN GHOST - Wooden Heart Norway-based Rhys Marsh has teamed up with 'multinational orchestra' The Autumn Ghost to record his third album, which combines a spectrum of instruments with fleeting moments of melancholy.
Taken from: The Blue Hour on Termo Records

11 JACK ARTHURS - Missing Restrained and sharply honest, Jack Arthurs' treatment of heartfelt sentiments in acoustic style are just the ticket for anyone looking for respite from the mind-messing hurly burly that prog can throw up. Jack's one step ahead of the game.
Taken from: Only Dreams Are True self-released

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
