18 Hot New Bands Headed For Rock'N'Roll Damnation

01 THE DEAFENING – Shake Down Chinatown
These bowery boy (and girl) tear it up like CBGB is still open and the streets are still covered in blood.
Taken from: Central Booking

02 THE TURBO LOVERS - Typhoon Killer
They're named after a terrible Judas Priest song, but they based their whole sound on Let There Be Rock, so it all works aout in the end.
Taken from: Hopelessly Addicted

03 HEY ZEUS - Stomach
Hey Zeus are a rock'n'roll Frankenstein's monster stitched together from various members of Boston rawk bands Scissorfight and Lamont. Their favourite AC/DC album is whichever one is on. Taken from their upcoming debut album

04 SUPERSNAKE - Yes I'm A Doctor
These New Jersey party-starters would like you to believe they play blues rock, but they play it like Angus does. Which is so loud your fillings fall out, and so sleazy you end up naked every time you listento 'em.
Taken from their upcoming debut album

05 GLITTER DICK - Midnight Girl
Rock'n'roll maniacs from Albuquerque. Here's the kind of band they are: they couldn't find their singer for over a month. He vanished. Then their guitar player sold his amp to pay the rent.
Taken from: Sparkling Richard

06 NAPALMPOM - Running In The Red
These Canadian volume-punchers claim they play "celebratory rock'n'roll". Which is exactly right. Running In The Red was recorded in their living room because they're too dangerous for a studio.
Taken from their Georgie demo

07 PEACE KILLERS – Devil's Daughter
Sacramento's Peace Killers named themselves after a 70s biker flick about a vicious gang of long-haired hellraisers. And that's exactly how they sound. Rumour has it their Marshall stacks run on gasoline.
Taken from self-titled debut EP

08 58 SHOTS - I Don't Need Anybody
France's leading torchbearers for high-voltage rock'n'roll pride themselves on their "explosive" riffs. You battered eardrums will definitely agree.
Taken from their Bel Air EP

09 ASPHALT VALENTINE - Living Dreams
Atlanta's Asphalt Valentine don't believe in trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to dirty, wailing rock'n'roll - they believe in keeping that flaming wheel rolling.
Taken from: Into The Red

10 BEGGARMAN - Supersonic Woman
Beggarman are from Melbourne, so they know a thing or two about AC/DC and the pleasures and terrors of high-voltage Down Under rock'n'roll. And they fully intend to bring back the days of proper Aussie rock music.
Taken from: Classy

11 BLACK SHERIFF - I Want You
These self-described "Deputies Of Rock" habe been tearing through Europe since 2007 on an endless bid to bring. back authentic , no-bullshit rock'n'roll. And that's exactly what they deliver.
Taken from their Hail The King EP

12 BLACK THUNDERS - Crucified For Rock N' Roll
Born in the "guts of Barcelona", these black-cloaked emissaries of the night are as feral as their monikers (Mr Crow, Mr Tiger, Mr Dog and Mr Octopus) would imply. If you like your rock dipped in pure evil, you're in for a treat.
Taken from new album Angels Of The Devil

13 DESTROY SHE SAID - Hookers Don't Kiss
Like Bon Scott-era AC/DC wrestling Kyuss to the death, Melbourne's Destroy She Said deliver their thick'n'dusty piledriver rock with little concern for public safety.
Taken from debut album Down To Dirty

14 THE GRIND - Mind Supressant
The Grind like to keep it simple, hence their snappy biog: "We play genuine rock'n'roll." This group of strapping young lads from San Diego formed a couple of years back and have been laying waste to their city ever since. Your town is probably next, so gird your loins.
Taken from debut EP Very Hard Rock

15 WICKED TONGUES - Karma, Killer, Saviour, Sinner
These young turks from San Diego dig hard rock and high times. Karma, Killer, Saviour, Sinner may or may not also be the nickname of the dudes in the band.
Taken from their self-titled debut EP

16 EL CAMINO - Poisoned Blood
It took two years for this German band to complete their debut album. If you placed every bottle of beer they drank in that time end to end, it'd reach the moon.
Taken from debut album Poisoned Blood

17 THUNDER BOMBER - Mr Wild
With a name like Thunder Bomber, you know you're in for something heavy. And these wild-hearted Italian stallions deliver a unique take on 70s arena rock and 80s sleaze.
Taken from new EP Black Pepper EP

18 REVEREND BACKFLASH - Can't Shake The Feeling
A band, not a man, their primary occupation is the same as AC/DC: playing loud, dirty songs about loud ladies and dirty drugs.
Taken from: Every Night

Somit gibt es also häufig angebliche Treffer.
