Tracks 1-1 to 1-7 are from the self-titled album 'Black Sabbath', which was produced by Roger Bain and released by Vertigo on February 13th 1970. *Note that Tracks 1-6 & 1-7 ('Sleeping Village' and 'Warning') are split in an unconventional way on CD one. On many other versions of the album 'Black Sabbath', 'Sleeping Village' is 3:46 in length, but on 'The Ozzy Osbourne Years' track 1-6 is 10:44 long, because Track 1-6 also includes most of the music for the song 'Warning' (6:58). Track 1-7 on 'The Ozzy Osbourne Years' is the outro section of 'Warning' (3:33).
Tracks 1-8 to 1-13, plus 2-1 are from 'Paranoid', which was produced by Roger Bain and released by Vertigo on September 18th 1970. The instrumental 'Rat Salad' is not included on this compilation.
Tracks 2-2 to 2-7 are from 'Master Of Reality', which was produced by Roger Bain and released by Vertigo on July 21st 1971.
