* Attack is released on 12 Feb and is the first single to be released from 30 Seconds to Mars' second album, A Beautiful Lie. The album has already sold over 900,000 copies in the US and hits UK shops on 26 Feb!
* 30 Seconds to Mars was formed in 2001 by Jared Leto (known also for roles in Requiem for a Dream and Fight Club, and set to play Mark Chapman in Chapter 27, a biopic of the John Lennon murderer). The band comprises Jared on vox & guitar, Shannon Leto (drums), Tomo Milicevic (guitar) and Matt Wachter (bass). The band won MTV's Best Video Award for single The Kill, which features on A Beautiful Lie.
* 30 Seconds to Mars head to Europe in January with one-off gigs in Manchester (31 Jan) and London (1 Feb).
