I think I found a small problem with the sorting functions of the collection lists...
This is the sorting settings I have applied:
yet my list is sorted like this: http://www.musik-sammler.de/sammlung/warepire
(the problem is extra noticeable in my Megadeth collection: http://www.musik-sammler.de/sammlung/warepire/200 )
Anyone have a solution or is this a programming fault ?

The problem is your criteria 2.
Take "Veröffentlichungsjahr" instead of "Jahr Tonträger-Veröffentlichung"
"Veröffentlichungsjahr" meaning: The year of its inital release

no no, i want to sort by release date of the specific version, because this is how I have ordered my collection in my CD shelves
the problem I am trying to explain is that (taking Megadeth for example) The System Has Failed is above the Countdown To Extinction re-master even though that I have set the option to sort the other way around (Countdown to Extinction begins with C and should be above The System Has Failed that begins with T for the 2004 releases I have)

Oh, I see. Sorry...
Not quite sure wheter this has any effect on the display of your collection but what are your settings under "Seitenoptionen"?

Then maybe you have to change the "Albumtitel" to "Absteigend"?

Well, I am at my wisdom's end!
The weird thing is, that your CDs within the same year of release are listed from Z-A even though you selected "Aufsteigend". I tried it with the same sorting-settings and it worked! So it might be a little fault in programming for your specific display settings...
Guess that's a case for Elric!

Did you ever tried to press Ctrl+F5?
Or delete something out of your collection and then add it again?
Some changes are only saved, when adding new stuff..
Otherwise I think it's really a case for Elric..

I have tried this, after I save nothing happens, and if I enter options again afterwards I will see it has gone back to the "Aufsteigend" setting.
I am mainly using Opera as webbrowser but i have the same issue in Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 3.5.

The Problem was that part of the sorting by artist name was the country of production. So the "GB" (Great Britain) of "System has failed" came before the "NL" (Netherlands) of "Countdown To Extinction".
I fixed this but you've to set "Albumtitel" (album title) to "Aufsteigend" (ascending) to finally get "Countdown..." before "System...".
