Das war bei mir in den 2000ern so ähnlich, an unserer Schule gab es praktisch nur HipHop. Ich habe Mitte der 90er angefangen als niemand sonst in meinem Umfeld Metal gehört hat. Demzufolge war es ohne Internet ziemlich schwierig an Infos zu kommen. Bis ich dann Ende der 90er die Hammer, Rock Hard, Legacy und Ablaze Magazine entdeckt habe. Bin eigentlich immer nach Cover Artwork und Band Logo/Bilder gegangen. Hab viel auf Flohmärkten und in Brockenhäusern gestöbert - später auch Musikbörsen. Die frühsten Scheiben in meiner Sammlung waren:

Ziemlich kaputter Christian Thrash Metal aus Indianapolis, Indiana. Auf youtube gibt's einige Songs - mir gefällt's. Die CD besteht aus den 3 Demo Tapes, welche die Band in den 80ern und frühen 90ern aufgenommen hat. Das Teil ist so selten, dass kein einziges Mitglied der Band ein Exemplar hat und extrem gesucht in Sammlerkreisen, da 1994 nur 1000 Stück gepresst worden sind --> letztes Jahr ging eine auf ebay für $725 Direktkauf nach nur 6 Stunden.
