Ich tippe mal, das werden wieder so schlechte Roadrunner/Cargo 180gr. Nachpressungen,
von CD gemastered, wie alle anderen bisher.
Ausserdem, was soll denn auf den jeweils 2. LPs drauf sein?
Die Demos, die schon auf den CD Neuauflagen verwurstet wurden?

Keine Ahnung, mehr weiß ich leider auch nicht. Da aber auf anderen Vinyl-Rereleases schon Bonussongs von früheren CD-Versionen verwendet wurden, könnte das sehr gut sein.

Im Online-Store von Porcupine Tree kann man gerade Fear Of A Blank Planet auf Vinyl vorbestellen. Es gab auch eine Limited Edition, die ist aber schon weg, soweit ich weiß (es gab nur 1000 Stück). Auf den Platten sind auch die Tracks von der neuen EP "Nil Recurring".

Recorded during the oppressive years of the Polish Communist regime’s rule, 666 contains some of the most sinister thrash metal produced in the mid 1980’s. At its inception, Kat focused on playing heavy metal songs containing well-composed songs with catchy riffs. By the time of 666, however, the band had darkened both thematically and musically. Were it not for the fact that, at the time Sarcasm released its debut cassette album, Crematory, Slovenia was part of the former Yugoslavia then under the control of a Communist dictatorship, this album may have been revered far more than it has been. Yet even though it took 18 years to receive proper vinyl treatment, this legendary album will finally get the attention it deserves. Sarcasm’s sound varies throughout the album from aggressive speed metal tracks resembling Kill ‘em All-era Metallica to songs that lean more heavily toward the band’s heavy metal roots. Every track on Crematory contains riffs and choruses that get stuck in your head and constantly draw you back to replay it over and over. The production is clear and warmly analog and all of the instruments are played with precision. No effort was made to obscure any incompetence by virtue of overly distorting the guitars or mixing down the drums and the vocals are written in such a way that accentuates the catchiness of the guitar riffs and delivered with a heavy metal sensibility at times, still retain an evil quality. This is, quite simply, one of the best thrash albums made from behind and the Iron Curtain and, furthermore, it has stood the test of time and far exceeds much of the thrash output from that time period. Hatte noch nie mit denen zu tun. Lohnen sich die Teile wenigstens von der Aufmachung her?

In der Regel schon, meistens gibt es 180 Gramm, bedruckte Innersleeves, Songtexte etc. Es gibt auch Ausnahmen (so ist die "Beneath the Remains" von Sepultura nur normal schweres Vinyl), aber die sind eher in der Minderheit.

Zuerst dachte ich, da steckt auch wieder Cargo hinter, aber das ist doch Back On Black, die in letzter Zeit einige nette und aktuelle 180 Gramm Scheiben veröffentlicht haben:

aber bei den zu Erwartenden 2000 Auflagen muss ich mich hoffentlich nicht so beilen wie bei den meistens zu knapp bemessenen Night Of The VINYL Dead LP's...

NIXXXX für ZZOOOUHH ,aber möglicherweise was für "Gorefest" Sammler...

dies dürfte das 1 mal sein das es dieses Album auf VINYL gibt ... on : Night Of The Vinyl Dead" ,Limitiert auf 250 Stück ( bleibt abzuwarten wann die die Auflage auf 5 Stück das Album runtereduziert haben ,und ne LP mit Poster 99,99 Euro + Porto kostet.... big_smile

Ich möchte mal viel lieber wissen, wo man die NotVD LPs ohne großen Aufwand herbekommt. Mal gibt es die eine da, die nächste dort... Ich hab noch keinen Versand gefunden, der grundsätzlich alle LPs zumindestens in kleinen Stückzahlen hat. Irgendwelche Tipps?

Jau, den Steffen hätte ich auch empfohlen.
Da kann man auch bei den Gebrauchten nix verkehrt machen.
Hab letzten Monat da alleine wieder für fast 300€ bestellt.
