This is the rarest Metallica record pressed in the UK. In 2002, Johnny Ramone asked Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett to get the band to contribute a track to the 'Happy Family' tribute album. Metallica prefaced a secret gig (under the name Spun) in San Francisco on June 4th 2002 with 4 Ramones songs: Commando, Today Your Love, Tomorrow The World, Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue and 53rd & 3rd. They recorded the last track in the studio for the tribute album. Typically, in the UK, Columbia thought they would cash in on Metallica's popularity by issuing it as a single in 2003, along with 2 other tracks by Green Day and Offspring. Metallica, or their management, stepped in to withdraw the single from release. This then is a mega-rarity. We're unsure how many copies were pressed but, as they come up for sale so infrequently, there can't be that many.
