With a strong focus on atmospheric yet experimental tunes, the instrumental duo Australasia has created a great wall of sound. Their cliff notes span from Ennio Morricone’s Soundtrack to an extreme Metal Underground and even towards Post-Rock, garnished with an obvious fascination for vintage synthesizers.
Within those soundscapes Black Metal Riffing and Blast Beats are dwelling beside ethereal Guitars, as if Long Distance Calling, Katatonia and the likes were echoing into the open space. For someone with a larger-than-life love for vocals you might find yourself waiting for the chorus, lingering in these unsung songs. Anyone willing to step onto a path distant from the typical instrumental music clichés, should listen to Australasia.
Released via Golden Morning Sounds, Sin4tr4 is the very first publication of the uprising label.
